As a mother of a daughter who works in a shopping centre in Newcastle who have had her own experience of someone not stable , fortunately she is alive to tell her story, as I watched on the evening news in regard to Westfield security in general in what needs to be done in any shopping centre needs to be upgraded, body cameras, tazzers whatever it takes, we all need to feel safe where ever we are………this is only one story.😢

I’m sorry…. But I just feel I don’t want to watch this from an upper class view. I’m not endorsing what the perpetrator did but as a teacher that works with people with disabilities and mental health issues I feel it all too convenient to push the issues that aren’t supported or valued in society back onto those that are denied care or services. I don’t not support that what he did was right but you cannot throw the most vulnerable under the bus then cry unfair when they don’t cope. This man needed help and nobody gave a crap.
